The 2010 Tour of Italy starts on May 8, from Amsterdam, and continues with two more steps in Dutch territory; then, after a day of rest, it comes back in Italy, with the individual time trial Savigliano - Cuneo, then Piedmont and Liguria; then two steps in Tuscany, towards Lazio, then Campania; an arrival at L'Aquila, going north, touching Porto Recanati, Cesenatico, Ferrara, Asolo, Mestre. The Tour of Italy is now starting to the big slopes on Zoncolan and up to Plan de Corones, a greeting Aprica and Tonale Mounts and finally, the unprecedented arrival in Verona with the individual time trial, on 30 May 2010. A bit of disappointment among all the cycling enthusiasts from South Italy, that have been excluded from the route of the Giro d'Italia 2010.
